Agencies across Birmingham are committed to ending violence against women. The Birmingham Violence Against Women Board brings together a range of representatives from agencies across Birmingham to provide a strategic and coordinated response to violence against women, covering a spectrum of gendered violence, including:
- Domestic violence and abuse
- Forced marriage
- Honour based violence
- Female genital mutilation
- Rape and sexual violence
- Women exploited through prostitution
- Impact of gendered violence upon children
